A Caring Community where you can find Hope and Purpose
Close

A Caring Community is where we strive to work together. It's a place where we find Hope and Purpose as we follow Jesus Christ.

At South Langley Church we are convinced that life is filled with possibility, mystery and meaning. Allowing God to reawaken within us the curiosity to explore and discover Him brings hope into our lives.

We believe that Jesus is God’s gift to us that allows our hearts to respond to this wonder. You are invited to explore our website and to join us on a life changing journey of knowing and following Jesus.

Senior Pastor
Wes has been serving as Lead Pastor at South Langley since the Fall of 1996. He is married to Doreen and they have four boys. The oldest is 22 and the youngest is 12.
Life can be crazy as they try to balance church life with home. All four boys are involved in sports year round. This has been a great way to connect with the Aldergrove community where they live.

Wes spends most of his time leading the church, running after his boys and volunteering at Langley RCMP Victim Services which doesn’t allow for much else.

Doreen and Wes enjoy the outdoors and try to camp as much as possible each summer. Wes particularly enjoys mountain climbing and hopes to one day climb....

God’s challenge to Wes this year is to plant seeds and watch Him do the rest.
