A Caring Community where you can find Hope and Purpose
Close

A Caring Community is where we strive to work together. It's a place where we find Hope and Purpose as we follow Jesus Christ.

At South Langley Church we are convinced that life is filled with possibility, mystery and meaning. Allowing God to reawaken within us the curiosity to explore and discover Him brings hope into our lives.

We believe that Jesus is God’s gift to us that allows our hearts to respond to this wonder. You are invited to explore our website and to join us on a life changing journey of knowing and following Jesus.

MCC Information
"Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) works alongside local churches and communities in more than 50 countries, including Canada and the United States, to carry out disaster relief, sustainable community development and justice and peace-building work in the name of Christ. MCC also seeks to build bridges to connect people and ideas across cultural, political and economic divides.

MCC relies on the support of Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches to provide committed, energetic workers, financial support and prayer for this worldwide ministry."

MCC_volunteers.jpgAt South Langley Church we are proud to support and continue the work of MCC in our community. Throughout the year there are always opportunities to help - you can... help the SWAP group (Service with A Purpose) by sewing blankets, volunteer at the local MCC MCC Relief Sale in Abbotsford, put together a Relief Bucket at Christmas time, buy a gift from the MCC catalouge, attend a MCC Fundraising Dinner or volunteer your time to work at one of the local MCC Thrift Shops.

If you'd like more information on any of these items please click on one of the above links, contact our MCC Church Representative, Karen Stehr or call the Church Office (604 530-2646). Thanks so much.
