The Library at South Langley Church
We have a wonderful new library and lounge at South Langley Church. Complete with comfy leather couches, a variety of coffees and a Kuerig coffee maker and over one thousand interesting volumes, you're welcome to have a cup of coffee, sit down and relax for a while or find a good book to take home with you.
We have fiction & non fiction sections, biographies, Mennonite history and much more. If you'd like to see a complete list of our library collection we are hoping to soon have a downloadable PDF of all our books here. If you find a book that you'd like you are welcome to check it out any time during the week or, of course, on Sunday mornings.
This month's featured author is Francine Rivers.
Francine Rivers has been writing since 1976 and had a successful writing career in the general market and won numerous awards. After becoming a born again Christian in 1986, Francine wrote Redeeming Love as her statement of faith.
Since then, Francine has published numerous books in the CBA market and has continued to win both industry acclaim and reader loyalty.
Francine says she uses her writing to draw closer to the Lord, that through her work she might worship and praise Jesus for all he has done and is doing in her life.
We have many copies of Francine's books in our church library including Redeeming Love (her first Christian novel), Her Mother's Hope and Her Daughter's Dream. Come and check one out today!
