South Langley Church is caring community filled with awesome people and an amazing team of volunteer leaders who help us walk through life and explore our faith together.

Moderator
Cam Penner
As a long-time member of SLC, I have the privilege of being raised in (and by) this church community, and I deeply appreciate the deep roots this has given me. I am married (Allison) and have 2 young adult children.
I bring a Big Picture viewpoint to the leadership table - one that is filtered through the life perspective of raising a family with complex medical needs.
On sunny Sunday afternoons the call of my motorcycle gives me the time and space to contemplate the deep truths shared by Pastor Rob during the morning service.
Facility Team Leader
Murray Scott
I was born and raised in South Vancouver and began my Christian walk at Marpole Baptist where I was baptized when I was 14.
I married my childhood sweetheart, Lorraine, 56 years ago. We’ve lived in the south Langley area for over 50 years and we’ve been attending South Langley Church together for the past 35 years.
When I’m not volunteering at the church I enjoy working at the Langley Food Bank, spending time with my grandkids and lawn bowling!
Member at Large
Britany Braun
I've been part of South Langley Church since childhood and it's been a true joy seeing my own children be a part of the same church I've grown up in. Witnessing God’s work unfold through SLC has been both inspiring and humbling, and I'm deeply honored to serve on the Leadership Team.
Outside of caring for my family, I enjoy exploring my creative side through crafting, getting lost in a good book, and sipping on a warm cup of tea. My husband (Scott) and I also enjoy playing board games and working on puzzles - whenever we can find the time and energy!
Member at Large
Lana Dyck
I have been a member at South Langley Church for about 7 years and accepted the invitation to be part of church council as a Member at Large in 2022. One of the things I love the most about this community is our shared desire to follow Jesus and care for others. I am looking forward to seeing what God will do next in our church and in our neighbourhoods.
I am also an elementary school teacher and love exploring how math helps us understand our world.
