Next Steps
At SLC, we try to challenge and encourage each other in our next steps of faith: from knowing God, to growing in relationship with God, to giving time, talent, and treasure in partnership with God, to helping others know and follow God.
We have noticed that the three most impactful church spaces for these steps of faith are SUNDAY SERVICES, SMALL GROUPS, and VOLUNTEER TEAMS.

Connection Card
If you consider SLC your home church, we encourage you to fill out a Connect Card. It’ll put your info in our database, and allow us to communicate with you so you can stay connected.

Small Groups
“We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.” - 1 Thessalonians 2:8

We were never meant to live life alone. Jesus calls his followers to resist the easy isolationism of our culture, in favour of deep, rich, messy, uncomfortable, transformative community.

Small Groups are our primary context for growing in community. Small Groups meet weekly or bi-weekly in homes throughout the city. There are snacks, a brief sermon-based Bible study, and a time to pray together.

Volunteer Teams
We believe the way of Jesus is to become like a servant (Mt. 20:25-28) - like Him - because we are gifted by the Holy Spirit to serve (1 Cor. 12:7-11), because we are built interdependently to serve (1 Cor. 12:21-27), and because serving is formational in our discipleship.
