First Steps

I'm New

Check us out - in-person or on-line. See if we might be a people and a place where you could see yourself growing in your Christian faith. Here's our discipleship pathway as a reference: to know God (the starting point for faith), to grow in your relationship with God (through spiritual disciplines),  to use your time, talent, and treasure in partnership with God (in church and home and workplace), and to help others know and follow God (by listening and asking questions and sharing stories).

Sunday Mornings

Come as you are.  

​

Our WORSHIP GATHERING starts at 10 a.m.

We'll sing some songs, pray to our God, and learn together from the Bible. 

 

We have a supervised NURSERY available for the entire service, and kids age 3 to grade 5 will go upstairs for KIDS CHURCH after a time of worship in music.

 

Please stay for coffee after our gathering when you can get to know us and be known.

Our Mission

Our mission is helping people know and follow Jesus. 

 

Here's how we're trying to go about it:

  • ENCOUNTER GOD - Becoming people who seek God in prayer and worship and depend on the Holy Spirit.

  • EQUIP GOD’S PEOPLE - Training and deploying disciples for ministry at SLC and in their individual contexts.

  • ENGAGE THE CITY - Blessing the people of Langley and inviting them into relationship with Jesus.
